We’re looking for someone ambitious to join our growing team. You’ll be great on the phone, enjoy building relationships with people and will enjoy persuasive writing. You don’t have to be techy, but you do have to care about trying to satisfy customer requirements. Likewise, no-one enjoys cold-calling but you will get a buzz from finding the perfect organisation, getting through to the right person and having a great chat. Oh and obviously, you’ll enjoy being financially rewarded when we win new clients!

Role Responsibility

This job is about developing sales opportunities - creating outbound leads and responding to inbound leads. You’ll need to understand the market, qualify customer requirements, research potential opportunities and speak to potential customers. You’ll also help our business development managers (BDMs) respond to tenders and RFPs. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Respond rapidly to inbound leads that come in by phone or email

  • Quickly qualify customer requirements and see if they match our capabilities

  • Deliver online demonstrations of our recruitment software products

  • Lead generation and qualification using social media, phone and email

  • Working with our marketing and sales teams to improve marketing campaigns

  • Sales follow-up by social media, telephone and email

  • Updating and maintaining our CRM system

  • Working with BDMs to produce quotations and proposals

  • Processing responses to RFIs and tenders

  • Keep up-to-date on new software releases and features 

  • To adhere to and follow TribePad’s security policy

The Ideal Candidate

  • Commercial acumen and telesales experience

  • Proven sales success at acquiring new customers

  • Excellent verbal communication skills

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Results-driven sales focus

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint

  • Experience with web-demonstration software e.g. WebEx, Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.

  • Knowledge of using social media to build professional relationships

  • Knowledge in recruitment or software would be a distinct advantage
