As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for building strong, lasting relationships with client stakeholders at all levels. You’ll also need to be organised, motivated and good at working with colleagues to solve problems and deliver new projects. Success will be measured by client satisfaction, retention and revenue growth. 

Role Responsibility

You'll report to the Senior Account Manager and will be responsible for maintaining strong, positive and profitable relationships with 30-40 clients of varying sizes and spending levels. 

  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, both for customers and within Tribepad.

  • To retain and grow existing client relationships, understand the client’s needs and ensure our software is best configured to meet these needs.

  • To introduce and demonstrate new products and features to customers.

  • To train or arrange training with the customer and their users.

  • To produce project proposals including functional stories, for customer required projects, engaging with all Tribepad stakeholders to determine costs and delivery timescales.

  • Using CRM and other tools, maintain records of customer contacts including questions, issues, config change requests and new feature requirements.

  • To manage and swiftly resolve any client escalations. 

  • To provide regular updates to the business on customer satisfaction and issues that need resolving.

  • Provide advice and guidance on customers' recruitment processes and how they can be adapted/evolved to work best within the Tribepad systems. 

  • To take ownership of internal work requested of you, and to ensure the work is completed, escalating any dependencies and risks where relevant.

  • Be positive and professional at all times with the customers and colleagues.

  • Deal with occasional evening & weekend queries from customers. 

  • Report any observed or suspected security weaknesses in systems or services to the CTO.

  • To adhere to and follow Tribepad’s Security Policy.

The Ideal Candidate

A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Essential

    • Proven relationship-building skills with senior and operational stakeholders.

    • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

    • Good presentation skills - in-person and remote (Zoom, Teams & Google Meet).

    • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.

    • Results-driven and motivated to deliver customer satisfaction.

    • An organised self-starter, able to balance priorities and cope in a fast-moving organisation.

    • Good working knowledge of MS Office / Google Suite.

  • Desirable

    • Proven successes in sales (new business and/or account management).

    • Experience in software, technology or B2B services.

    • Knowledge in the recruitment, HR and/or talent management sectors.

    • Experience in using CRM to track pipelines and log relationship events (we use Hubspot).

    • Full driving licence.

Package Description

We’re offering £25,000 - £35,000 salary + unlimited commission (OTE £20,000), with a strong benefits package including flexible working, matched pension up to 7.5%, private healthcare and loads of other perks.

The role is home-based with an expectation of travel to Sheffield HQ once or twice a month (COVID restrictions permitting).
